Whats Kazikasi?
Kazikasi (KK) is an Online Work Site intended to provide opportunity for Kenyans to earn a few hundred (or thousand) shillings doing jobs for people (I call them innovators) who may need help but either can't do the work themselves or may not have the time or energy to accomplish the task.
KK is an enabler that will allow innovative people to be more productive by obtaining the help of those who have the time, energy, desire and wherewithal to do the work.
In return the innovators pay for the services. Initially, it will be open up to anyone with a Kenyan bank account who can receive cash via MPESA Paybill or other local (Kenyan) money transfer service. The verification process requires you have a Kenyan ID, mobile phone number and PIN certificate to reduce chances of mischief.
KK will not be responsible for any personal tax liabilities unless the law specifically requires it. This site is a facilitator to the two parties involved in the work contract.
